As an alternative to the conventional pick & place concept, we offer a wraparound packaging machine for full wrap or two-piece packaging. Since 2019, we have been benefitting from the long-standing knowhow of INVOLVO and we are now able to provide you with both intermittently and continuously operating wraparound systems.

INTERMITTENT OPERATION

Compact and versatile

Our intermittently operating wraparound machine is designed to cover a speed range of up to 30 cases per minute. This packaging machine is suitable for both full wrap packaging and other variants such as trays with or without covers. Thanks to different types of collating units, a wide variety of products can be packed lying flat or standing upright, grouped or individually.

Tray-Hood Machine

Innovative and specialised design

This machine type was developed to produce tray & hood packaging, i. e. trays with an inserted lid. A multistep unit (two-track chain with compartments) is used to collate the products prior to packaging. Another special feature of this machine are the high-capacity magazines for upright blanks.

CONTINUOUS OPERATION

Fast and independent production

With up to 60 cases per minute, the continuously operating wraparound packaging machine is tuned for performance, no matter whether it produces full wrap packaging or trays. Depending on your product, we can use grouping channel units with lane dividers or swivel blades. This machine can be complemented with a large, extendable magazine which can be replenished during operation to ensure a long-term, automonous performance.

The standard models are fitted with handwheels with counters for manual change-over, but all packaging machines and systems are optionally available with a fully-automatic change-over function for an additional charge. This faster and more precise change-over procedure increases the availability of the packaging machine and helps to reduce operating errors to the greatest possible extent.

Innovative, ultra-versatile supply systems and collating units ensure highly efficient, gentle and reliable transport, collating and packaging of a great variety of products. Full-wrap cases or various tray types such as ledge trays (with stacking flaps) and octagonal variants as well as film-wrapped trays can be produced with these wraparound packaging machines.
